STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Special Olympics Wyoming is a not-for-profit501(c)(3) organization, providing year-roundopportunities for sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectualdisabilities. Currently over 1,100 athletes andthousands of volunteers, family members and friendstake part in the activities of Special OlympicsWyoming.
We train for 3 seasons. In the fall, we train for bowling, cycling, and soccer. During the winter season, we train for snowshoeing and downhill skiing. During Summer games we train for swimming, basketball and track.
This summer, 5 students from Douglas, including athletes and unified partners to Princeton, New Jersey to compete in National Special Olympic Games. They will be on a soccer team representing Wyoming!
